A Chinese national who lived and worked in Singapore was featured on Chinese national TV for her participation in the recent 60th anniversary celebrations

Zhang Yuanyuan, 28, had studied and lived in Singapore for five years and obtained permanent residency. According to Shin Min’s report on Monday, Zhang taught Chinese in Singapore and earned about $4,000 a month.

It was reported in the Chinese evening dailies that upon receiving her permanent residency, someone had told her to consider taking up Singaporean citizenship as well and her answer was: “Beijing is my home.”

Ok, According to the MP that replied below the article which most likely the cause for concern for many Singaporeans that got irked.

But in an email to STOMP, netizen Stuntman Mike said: “With the influx of foreign talents, can we afford to trust them? After this incident, are we to treat them as equals?

Problems:

• Foreign Talents coming to Singapore earning huge pay cheque before leaving back to their own country to join their military?
• Some Singaporean felt unable to trust PR after this incident
• MP’s replies got some netizen pretty angry
• Some may claim that FT comes to Singapore to get PR as a spring board to other countries but in this case it’s not.

Well, this case is very sensitive and concerned many locals here in the current economic “down turn” which many locals are already struggling to make ends meet and sometimes need to compete with very very very good foreign talents.

I can only give some heads up to everyone including the MPs who makes decisions on such matters.

1. True, Singapore must gain more talents overseas to remain competitive especially those ultra rich & boss level foreign talents so to generate more jobs for locals however there are certain FT that must be monitored for their behaviors after getting their PR and have the option to revoke their PR status if found that they are unable to stay within Singapore for certain determined length of time to work and contribute to Singapore’s economy.
2. I believe PR guys are eligible to serve the Singapore Army (correct me if I’m wrong) and they may “infiltrate” deep within Singapore “3G” army, with this article means these PR guys probably have the “options” to return to their mainland to “join” their own country military too…hmmm is that a security risk?
3. With more FT coming in to compete with locals, there must be a win win situation in the business sense, such as quality FT workers & cheap FT labors but sacrificing the locals indirectly. This is a lose lose situation as locals will starts to migrate out in greater frequencies pulling out their CPF money.

Solutions:

1. Give all Singaporean a higher priority in education to be an entrepreneur to hire people instead of being a lowly paid stressed out worker. All Singaporean must attend business classes as a Compulsory class from Primary School throughout tertiary education.
2. Government Grants to All Singaporean to start up business with automatic approval with the right application & severe punishments if certain criteria are not met after grant approval such as “inability to hire even a single Singaporean”.
3. Give more incentive for PR who stays in Singapore for longer period of time and punishment if they went away for too long.

There are too many things that Singaporean can complaint about this article but the most important is the livelihood of Singaporeans living in Singapore.

If These Singaporean are unable to survive within Singapore the likelyhood of them leaving Singapore will be substantially higher, imagine more locals will seek out foreign partners in order to migrate more easily creating a social problems such as more single Singaporeans unable to get hitched easily locally with locals.

However, understanding the MP are humans with their decisions for the “good” of the economy and Singapore’s competitiveness against the world….they might have the inability to change the status quo as many of the qualified Foreign talents did pumps in huge amount of money into Singapore to give Singapore the cutting edge & “almost” immune to recession.

If you got other solutions to this complaints or even something I had not mentioned above do write in the comments below but don’t target the MPs personally but on the problem direct. (be nice hehe)

Are talking ABOUT ghost in the 7th month the best way to entertain ourselves? LOL I think it’s a thrill for folks who loves horror but those who cannot handle scary stuff should avoid it as much as possible.

A woman was seen hitting a man, who we can only assume to be her boyfriend, in the groin repeatedly with her shoe and he just stood there taking the hits without retaliating. She was seen standing outside a white Lexus, whacking him over and over again!

She hits him unforgivingly below the belt three times. Then she smashes her heeled shoe into his face in a fit of rage. After she’s done with the shoe, she uses her bare hands to grab and yank him below the belt.

The link given are from the Razor TV website which is very interesting I think.

That link basically says if your house got the following signs may means your house is haunted.

1. Unusual Sounds – knocks on doors where nobody there, kettle or alarm sound where nothing happen
2. A cold spot – suddenly drop in temperature
3. Recurring Nightmares with the same scenarios
4. Persisting foul smell that is hard to clean away or it appear in a different spot elsewhere
5. Winter Melon to tell if your house is haunted – place it a couple of days and see if anything unusual occurs
6. A cat or a dog can tell if there are ghosts in your house
7. Food goes back very quickly in half a day time

There are many things that I can try to comment here about the 7 signs and even to debunk many of those signs lol

Firstly let’s tackle the unusual sounds that may appear to be supernatural such as knocking on your door or wall where nobody are there or even alarm clocks or kettle boiling sounds that appear to be so near to you that you can almost swear it’s in your house…oh yes it’s not.

Sounds travel very far in the middle of the night especially those living in HDB or with very close neighbors and if it’s very quiet at night, any slight noises can be heard all over the places. The furniture sometimes do make weird noises as well due to the natural expansion & contraction due to temperature changes in the day to night.

Some night owl people may even move furniture around the house in the middle of the night LOL (I know because I did that sometimes)…

A cold spot can be easily determine if you had the window opened and a gust of cold wind may had entered your room easily or even constant wind blow on aquarium tanks may cool your room significantly if it’s a windy day. I enjoy a cool room so no need to be afraid of it just wear more to warm up

Recurring nightmares can be due to diet at a very late night supper if you have too much to digest at night may cause your mind to go into overdrive when you are sleeping causing great difficulty to rest 100% but the content of it may not be explain away easily…

Persistence of smells can be solve easily by aroma therapy incense or a candle that burns away the foul smell (sometimes people light a match in toilet and it works too). But if the smells still persist try automatic aroma spray battery operated types…hehe but can’t explain why they appear at that spot thou.

Winter melon that place in a location may go bad automatically in a few days…what’s the strangeness in that? I wonder…hmm

Food goes bad quickly depends on the temperature of your house, if its very hot & high humidity like in Singapore do almost daily…best is trust your refrigerator instead of placing them in the open…for long hours.

For cats or dogs that appear to hear or see some invisible things and reacts to them…sometimes it’s just tiny insects that our human eyes cannot see fast enough or able to focus on them. Cats usually try to play with flies, cockroaches, ants, fruit flies and even laser lights hehe

He’s name is Good Year if I am not wrong and maybe he got into that position without knowing the whole “facts” about the situation within Temasek and probably get overly stressed?

The questions now I have are the following…

1. What happened to stressed him up?
2. How bad is the situation in Temasek?
3. Is it because of a power struggle?
4. Is it because he is just a puppet & scape goat?
5. Did he found out something secret & wanted to reveal it publicly but forced to resign ultimately?
6. Where he going now? Overseas?

Now we had to find out how much is his “resignation” payout was and is it a super huge amount? Hmmmm

1. MLM Link SPAM

It’s not that I hate business owners trying to use twitter as a marketing platform and if they did it correctly they might even get rewarded by using the search functions and find quotes by related keywords related to their product however MLM is just not FAST and EASY way to earn money but just another way to spread slavery & bad reputation among your peers & friends.

2. Zero Tweets, Aggressive Followers

No offence barbiegirlh33, but you never make a single tweet but followed 179 people half expecting people to go to your blog or website link.

No need to imagine what is the rest of your clones out there are named…

One big example is the “eating on MRT” complaints that stomp had been receiving frequently & some of the new rules SMRT declared are simply shocking! You can’t even drink plain water or eat sweets on MRT now BECAUSE PEOPLE COMPLAINED!

It’s OMG situation that many complaints without thinking of the consequences LOL Thinking back there are some who complaints that there are many factory workers parked their car free in the nearby free carparks meant for park goers in the end that particular car park become NO LONGER FREE to park even for park goers!

Imagine the consequences and possible solutions first before complaining and by maintaining this blog I might be changing the future rules just by simply complaining FOR others who never think of the possible worst solutions the people involved will decide on.

I guess the possible problem for this site is people complaint about everything and don’t get relief even AFTER complaining…hmmm

Ok, I will change the format of this site totally to focus on the positive side of everything but I may need some help from you to FIND out the positive side of everything.

In fact, taking the average of the 156 US universities listed here, the average FT enrollment for these US univ is only 10.2%.

A COUPLE is being dogged by angry comments from commuters. The reason :They took a dog on board a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) train.

Netizen Jacky Chen posted a video on the Stomp website on Monday showing a young couple boarding a train with a dog in a cardboard box.

He called the couple’s actions “really ridiculous”.

The e-mail did not specify when the incident took place, or on which MRT line the couple was on.

- I think this is going crazy with more people eating and drinking in MRT and now animals in MRT? hmmm

Some problems encountered

1. Animal in MRT illegally
2. People may be allergic to animal fur especially asthmatic people may be irritated
3. Not enough security checks on boxes & carrying animals

Wacky solutions

1. Full body x-ray scan similar to those in the airport!!
2. Temperature scanner camera similar to those used to detect H1N1 to find hidden animals in boxes (to detect H1N1 too Dual Use!)
3. Hire more SMRT officers to patrol 2 carriages per officer (Solve some joblessness situation)
4. Put a carriage strictly for animals & their owners (Small cubicles)

Of course we must also think for the animal lovers who wanted to travel around with their pets…so public transport may need a animal transporter taxi that is resonable in price, hint hint anyone!

THE German researcher who returned to Singapore from the United States with flu symptoms and only sought medical treatment a week later has come under fire from netizens who called him ‘inconsiderate, selfish, and downright foolish’.

The 56-year-old man, who works at Biopolis, was diagnosed with the Influenza A (H1N1) virus on Monday night, becoming Singapore’s 48th confirmed case.

His actions – which included

• going to work
• shopping
• attending a function held by the French ambassador
• going to a concert

- This is absolutely horrifying and being a researcher supposedly belong to the elite class of the elite yet they don’t have the right frame of mind to think that his actions probably had indirectly killed many people that have underlying illnesses such as asthma, blood disorder and others that are too weak to defend against such virus attack.

Yes, I won’t say he is the only person to be blame if there is any epidemic to start off in Singapore or the rest of the world. We are in a way an international country that have thousands of foreigners coming to Singapore daily including thousands of Singaporeans travelling out for vacation despite WHO declaring this as an pandemic.

Problems Faced

1. Visitors Or Travellers come and go without strict quarantine procedures
2. Current airline tickets are too cheap that induced locals travelling “desire”
3. Whole Singapore not wearing “mask” even when they are sick
4. Singaporean or locals love to stare at weird mask wearers

Wacky Solutions

1. All visitors from all affected countries to be strictly home quarantine or hotel quarantined (regardless if they are sick or having any fever or not) for at least 3 days to see if they develop any symptoms before letting them out of the quarantine.
2. Dear SG GOVERNMENT to spend some $ to import more trendy mask into Singapore to sell at wholesale price! Oh Come ON no more excuses! Those Sporty Mask is available at e-bay for goodness sake! (Entrepreneurs wake up your idea man!)
3. Suckers who are sick and still goes to work should be sacked immediately before they infect the whole company and bring the whole company down in ashes! (oops, I think I feel feverish…wait wait…it’s the durian)
4. All crowded area should be reinforced to be a MASK ON EVENT, much like those “Black Tie” event that only a suitable attire could allow you in otherwise will be barred from entry and will be kicked out if they don’t wear the mask properly when inside. (Includes shopping centre, MRT Station, Bus Station, Cinemas, Air Ports, Food Courts and Markets and etc.
5. All those who are severly sick with underlying illnesses should have a necklace to indicate their  blood type, alergies and medical history in short form to allow paramedics to understand more about your problems and treating the correct medication even when the person is unconcious.
6. Ask all mediacorp artist in the public to WEAR A MASK to promote mask wearing campaign even when they are out doing an event, as if they don’t everyone won’t do it at all and everyone just promote spreading virus instead.
7. Everyone please do the right thing, if you are sick even if it’s just a small cough, flu, bodyaches, vomiting, feverish or worst breathless even after medication and you had travel overseas recently….PLEASE CALL THE MOH hotline at 1800-333 9999.
8. If you are sick with the above symptoms, don’t go to GP clinics to spread to others! Call ambulance to send you to hospital for check up!

The latest updates as of 17th June 2009 is addtional 17 brand new H1N1 Infections bringing the total of infected people in Singapore to 66!!

I don’t like to say the words “I told you so” or even going to joke about this anymore, it’s like the whole Singapore is telling us with underlying illnesses to “go and die and we don’t care about you” because there are too “cool” to be spotted wearing a mask even when they are sick.

I think it’s about time the people who are in the high risk group to stand up against these people and RUN away from anyone who cough loudly, sneeze without covering their mouth….run away with loud screams. (kidding lah, just walk away)

If all else fails, just be prepared for it..and if you know someone you love that may die because of these inconsiderate people…prepare their dairy of death…cry with them or love them deeper as life may be shorter with a small inhale of infected droplets of H1N1 sneezed out of these inconsiderate people.

Apparently the Health Minister are so good at calming people down with their “downgraded” risk level due to the fact THEY won’t die from it…they might even scale down any contact tracing or maybe revised the fever detection to NO DETECTION at all LOL which should be fun to see how they SPIN THE STORY that it’s not deadly.

Welcome to propaganda 101, if cannot convince…confuse with more technical terms as possible and all types of alphabetical version of the strains will be out Type A…etc and new variation of H1N1 discovered in Brazil…and probably more researcher will come out proclaiming to have made the vaccine to stop the virus but until the vaccine is in the local pharmacies…we are basically on our own now.
