Comex 2008 Singapore Coming 28 August – 31 August 2008!!!
This event quoted as the BIGGEST IT & Technology exhibition with the ENTIRE SHOW FLOORS virtually given me a boost in adrenaline and the heart simply beats faster then usual. That’s how excited I gets when there is such a exhibition! 
However, previous IT shows sometimes proved to be a let down if you do not have the budget to actually buy anything. There was once I had purchase a Kingston DDR2 Ram at super low price however the seller knows nothing about compatibility with old hardware and I had purchased it out of pure impulse and lack of proper judgment.
In the end the DDR2 Ram is not compatible with my old motherboard of my old desktop at home hence wasted my $$$. Lessons learned and I do wish to share my experience with you my dear readers
Tips to prepare before going to the COMEX 2008!
- Find out what you want before going (Or what you can afford)
- Find out possible compatibility issues
- Grab a friend who like to debate with you on IT compatibility.
- If one day is insufficient, go 2 to 3 times and get as much information as possible before buying.
- Never fall into the “Cheapo Price” + expensive accessories trap
- Internet Broadband Contracts with free computers may add up to be more expensive then buying the “free” computers alone.
- Bring a decent camera for shooting “chio” (beautiful) camera booth models.
- Be prepare to travel light, heavy laptops and bags is a no no.
- Bring water supply
- Wear proper shoes for long hours shopping.
- Be aware of pick pockets so secure your wallets$$
- Lastly, BRING CASH. Nets charges more for retailers hence using cash might able to give you some well deserved discount
