Fallen Coconut Tree, Previously a Hazard

There was a tree previously dangling sideways “nearly” fallen over for at least 3 months before finally collapsing heavily last Sunday (26 August 2008) outside the condominium at Bloosoms @ Woodleigh.

The tree had remained there since then until today. The weight of the tree made a serious bend on the railing that sent a chill down my spine. Luckily nobody was known to be hurt when it collapsed.

Who is suppose to clear this tree? Anyone knows?

Is it NEA or some agency? Do comment if you have any idea how to remove this tree away from the pedestrian pathway.

How serious is this? Probably not that serious…but there was cases previously that fallen tree actually killed people when they walk under those trees.

Maybe it’s fate, maybe it’s negligence but this tree previously is really leaning 45 degrees sideways which is potentially dangerous.

I am kinda glad it went down because the stress of walking in that pathway is pretty intense during rainy days.
