Meritus Mandarin the first hotel to pay staff mid-year bonus

According to Channelnewsasia :

SINGAPORE: Meritus Mandarin is the first hotel in Singapore to pay eligible staff mid-year bonus.

This is to reward them for their commendable performance in the first six months, both in occupancy and room rates, the hotel says.

It says the move is in line with the government’s initiative for companies to nurture a more competitive edge.

It shows the hotel’s appreciation of its staff and the hotel hopes the move will attract more talent.

- Time to whip out the resume? Hmmmm maybe they really get good results to deserve such good pay :) The tourist are pouring into Singapore recently but still losing to Macau hmmm anyway…we are clean and green! Let’s go Singapore!

    I think Singapore is so much better than Macau, there is nothing in Macau except casinos and casinos. People just go there and gamble their money away. And after that, go for those dirty massage which are overpriced.

    Yeah Singapore is better ! We need more late night shopping, pasar malam and eating places that open beyond midnight !
