Ok, the article seems to be purposefully shorter to give the impression of less roads closure. Well the consolation is that “some” of the roads are open during 5am and 9am off peak period for F1 racer wannabe to drive through haha!!
Maybe the pit stop drive in may not be open during 5am to 9am otherwise you shall see all kinds of cars driving in…changing tires and pumping oil!!
The disruption to the public traffic will be significant and there are already more than one reader complained to me about the traffic congestion causing them to be late for work and got very frustrated.
One of them even claimed that he wanted to “tear up that F1 ticket if he have one on hand”!!
It’s about time we consider inviting the locals to actually ENJOY the F1 race for free somehow…instead of catering to only the tourist market.
My suggestion is as follows!
My solution to this problem is not only having live broadcast of the F1 Race on national Television but also put up FREE Live coverage big screen broadcast in public like bars, coffee-shops, wide screen television outside buildings and give them a FREE FM radio broadcast station to tune into for updates.
Next is to allow BETTING on Singapore Pools specially for this 3 days of F1 racing, that will draw in even the uncle & “God of Gamblers” into “F1 Mood” immediately.
Those who are unfortunately trapped in the heavy traffic congestion due to road closure…get their front window cleaning by super “chio” (babe) with skimpy clothes absolutely FREE of charge! That will dissolve any frustration almost immediately!
Of course Handsome F1 Racer looking men to wash the window…if it’s a female driver.
There are so much F1 Racing collectibles that can be made and sold! Singaporean~ Go sell it NOW! Money to be made and lot’s of money is coming in so rejoice!
However, if it’s not what I think it is…a dull “walled up, private, expensive, excluded, non-free, no discount, no chiobus, no freebies, no excitment outside the wall…” then sigh.
Well, life is tough after the event but just enjoy while we can hor…don’t say I never tell you.
Latest UPDATE!! (Thanks Jimmy Woo!!)
