A “design” already exists IF you can find it. I remeber seeing an extended article complete with artists renderings of what an exoskeleton battle suit might look like. It was run in Popular Mechanics or Popular science in around 1958 give or take a cople of years. I have been unable to locate a copy. It you are able to please let me know. The drawings were very detailed. Probably where Stan Llee got the idea for. Iron Man.

It looked like a battle should look complete with over sized hand grennades, rocket pack to increase leaping distance, an automatic “pistol” using full house rifle rounds, bullet resistant armor, CBR capability, the whole nine yards !!!
