There had been many instances of more ghostly activities in Singapore reported on the news recently!!

-Firstly, there is another incident where the Asia One news reported “SBS Bus ‘Ghost’ caught on camera” on the 16th of March 2009

A Shin Min Daily reader captured a ‘ghost’ on his camera phone late on Sunday and sent the images to the paper.

According to the Chinese daily, the reader, Mr Chen Lai Fu, 40, said that he has had the ability to see spirits since he was 6 years old.

Mr Chen, who works in advertising, said that when he boarded the bus on Sunday night, he was surprised to find a small boy “playing a fool in the bus”.

- Then on the 19th of March, novelltie posted a very interesting mass possessions in Labrador Park stated as follow in the first post in the local popular forum.

Last night after 8.30 pm, a group of around 8 – 9 ITE students were possessed by unknown spirits and began to create a scene at Labrador Park. Police and ambulances were called to the scene after public and staff from the school reported that some students began acting strangely after they went out for a walk at the Park.

Apparently, ITE sent 100+ students for a course by Adam Khoo at Labrador Park chalet-style hotel and after the course, some students decided to go for a walk in the park.

An hour plus later, they were seen creating a din and acting strangely, like jumping on tables and shouting. a boy who tried to help a fellow possessed student was seen by teachers and staffs being strangled by unknown forces as he approached his friend.

Teachers and staffs immediately called the police and the place was sealed off for investigation. Presently, there are no indications of any missing students or fatalities. update only when source return from campsite.

- This is highly unusual to have many ghostly incident suddenly became hot topic in Singapore media & news at this date which is usually more on the 7th month of hungry ghost festival instead of current date…but I analyze the situation and deduce the following possible reasons.

  1. It’s the traddition date for “clean tomb” month where the Chinese will go clean up their ancestors tomb near the 29th March 2009.
  2. Most of the tomb buried previously in Chua Chu Kang was exhumed without permission to a new location at Mandai causing spirits to be “lost”?
  3. The hell and heaven are full…the dead roam the living!!

But whatever the reasons, I believe Ghost or Spirits is real as I had personally witnessed once when I was young hence we should never be disrespectful to any deities, artifacts, tombs, holy land and ghostly haunting places.

May all ghost or spirits rest in peace, feel free to put your experiences or comments in this post to discuss more on this topic :)
