I think it’s given across the board…using GST credit give away $ to local Singaporean.

PR I am not sure…maybe you can check the gov website for more information

simon, for the crisis package, does it go out to the middle class citizens or just for the elderly people? any incentives for non Singaporean citizens like those on work permit?

Whatever I had said on my blog is just personal opinions and not really the view of all Singaporeans.

Yes, sometimes I am critical of the decisions of the Government but I am unfortunately not in the position to change things...as a ordinary folk in Singapore.

The only thing I can achieve is to make a comment on my blog and forget about it...

I had mentioned that whatever my suggestion is impossible to achieve...hence the last word in this article.

I do wish they can have a scaled down implementation thou...such as instead of 50% discount...make it 10% or something.

Why does you Singaporens like to take advantage of the government? Doesn’t the government provide you people with a crisis package worth millions in this economy downturn.
