Hanging killer litter is not the police’s duty (not an offence), but sleeping in a park is an offence! If fear for the future of Singapore.

One goes to a park to relax. When feeling relax, is one not allow to fall sleep?

Does one have to keep watching over the shoulder to see if some stupid park rangers will come up and fine them for some ridiculous reasons? Wouldn't it cause more stress this way?

So why even bother having parks if people are not allow to feel relax there?

And NPark's dos and don'ts guide is such a trawl-net that essentially means that those park rangers can fine you for anything as long as they don't like your face.

There are several tips online...the basic ones are the following

1. Warm Milk before sleep
2. Eat 1 flu pills (those that make you sleepy ones)
3. Count sheep?
4. watch a boring documentary...
5. listen to SPA music
6. relax eyes and roll it up to your eye lids relax.
7. relax from leg..to hands to head...
8. set a alarm earlier in the morning.
9. start sleeping earlier.

For the past eight years, I have only been able to sleep for about three hours each night. I’ve tried everything in the book but nothing works.

I still get only about three hours of sleep each night and I feel very tired and weak in the morning. Can anything else be done?

I can’t believe this, you can actually get fined for sleeping on park benches ! And is only a 15 minutes nap. This is ridiculous. $200 is a heavy fine for this kind of offence. I pity the driver because at times, they need to rest in order to concentrate better on the roads. You won’t want take a bus where the driver is tired and constantly yawning due to lack of sleep. According to the papers, there are no signs to warn people not to sleep on park benches.

I have a suggestion, why not implement a fee for people who wants to go into parks, the longer you want to stay, the more money you pay.

from the NParks website, there is a list of DO'S DON'TS list as follows:
When visiting our parks, don't :
Litter
Play loud music using sound systems or speakers
Gamble
Wash your car or clothes
Drink or take drugs
Dig up, remove or kill any plant
Beg, tout or solicit
Feed, injure, capture or kill any animal or destroy its nest, or set any trap for animals
Set up any shrine or religious artifact
Fish, except where permitted
Bathe, wash or swim in our ponds Put up any structures such as booths, stands or stalls, unless permitted
Vandalize, damage or destroy any trees, plants, buildings, structures or ornaments or leave graffiti on them
Hang advertisements, banners, placards or anything else on trees, plants or park structures, unless permitted
Be a nuisance to others
Use obscene or vulgar languages Park haphazardly or in lots reserved for handicapped drivers
Obstruct any entrance or exit Bring, ride or drive any motor vehicles (including motorized bicycles) into the parks, unless permitted
