- My conclusion for this song is that basically JB may be a cheaper alternative for locals who are in financial problems however, sometimes it might be better to move together with them….instead of letting them to live alone with a group of strangers.
There should be a zone for Singaporean old folks that can do their own farming and food growing so that they have things to do yet able to enjoy their retirement.
Retirement should a happy thing instead of sad and lonely, I will want them to be well taken care of during their stay.
I don’t want to be locked in a building all my life when I am old, I want to roam free anywhere I want.
I believe giving some responsibility like simple jobs or growing vegetables or fruits will give them some form of capabilities to afford simple pleasures such as a good movie outdoors or a cheap Batam Trip to relax.
Sometimes, I realized that people in Singapore have almost zero life…work, eat, sleep and repeat…the rest of the time pretending to be rich & famous.
Most won’t care for current affairs unless it affect their bonus, they won’t know if the world is about to end or what hit them when crisis happens.
Most won’t have an clue that the current economic crisis is not solely caused by sub prime credit crisis, some don’t even know what is sub prime.
Most claim that they don’t have time to do what they really desire…until they are very old.
Let me wake you people up, if you are going to die tomorrow…what do you want to accomplish today?
