SINGAPORE: The National Environment Agency said Singapore is not affected by forest fires in Indonesia.On Wednesday, Singapore’s Meteorological Service detected 41 hotspots in Sumatra.
Localised smoke plumes were observed to emanate from some of the hotspots in Riau.
However, Singapore is not affected by the smoke plumes, as the prevailing northerly to north-easterly winds are blowing them away from Singapore.
The 24-hour PSI in Singapore on Wednesday was 46 which was within the ‘Good’ range
