I can only have this to say to MDA Senior Management! YOU Damn Daring!! I bet nobody can make it as unique as this…perhaps only William Hung can achieve this kind of “CUTE” MTV!!

Those who love it, say YES! Those who felt red faced…you are not alone, those who finally comes to accept it and the video promotion might just succeed changing your mind about Media Development Authority that recently agreed to double rating release of “Lust, Caution” and maybe Un-Ban the highly anticipated video game “Mass Effect” over Alien Lesbian Sex Scene and release it with “M18″ Adult ratings to prevent the kids below the age of 18 from “buying” it directly.

I guess the reason behind the recent change because the MDA or Media “censorship” Authority are getting their reputation kicked left right center by news world wide viewed as an overly protective parents over the population of Singapore.

To be honest, if ever MDA get hold of the INTERNET…maybe I can consider moving to New Zealand or Australia!!LOL!! Just Joking!. The Internet are full of “media” that NO ONE Authority can censor or conceal from the new generation of IT Literate Kids. They hack and plunder musics and movies with zero difficulties until the big corporation gave up their pursue of copyright infringement protection and join in the “OPEN Source” Online Market Place.

To protect the Young, MDA give ratings to movies here in Singapore and censored minutes away from violent or overly sexual movies in theater knowing full well that the internet STREAM FULL UNCUT MOVIES 24/7 and sometimes get extra special interviews and movie fan made poster or wallpapers for your computer or mobile phones!! The demand for theater movies eventually loses steam against such luring attraction of uncensored media!

Does censorship really helps the young ones from viewing violent and sexual contents? Nope! It will only limits the profitability of media distributors in Singapore as they sees their investments to distribute quality contents being cut up and thrashed in the dust bins.

DEMAND for quality UNCUT movies, Animation, Games and videos are very very high because of censorship. So, maybe one day when all the conservative generation are no more then we can truly enjoy “legally” what the movie theater can provide, a pleasure to our sights and sounds. Until then, it’s youtube, stage6, metacafe, googlevideo, joost, viddler, and probably a few more “promising” internet “entertainment” websites to keep me awake at night.
