plane flying very low in the air. the noice is terrible. this is not good for elders,babies and patients. why no one is taking action to stop the planes flying low in sky in residential areas.

3. Property
4. Fish Tank Hobby
5. Movies
6. Electronics & Computers
7. Internet
8. Hand Phones
9. Playstation Portable (PSP)
10. Softwares Programming
11. Banking
12. Entertainment Related (anything fun and exciting if any)
13. Tourism

I don't drink, smoke or club...so don't ask me about those clubbing scenes...or alcohol related.

And at the age of 30...I look and act like 20+ hahaha...so don't be surprise when you see me here haha.

It depends on what you believe in, education is important from many different directions.

According to the book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" the poor dad is a scholar and teaches in school whom is a very intelligent and wise but is never rich.

The Rich Dad says education is important but learn the ways of maths, accounting, finance and business instead. The best school is the real world working and starting their own business.

Singapore system is more on providing the country with lot's of specialized workers that learn individual skills to be a worker not employer.

The difference is they are raised as a employee and always finding for a stable well paying job and the rich people learn to employ people and the best accountant etc. to run the business for them.

In the end only top 5% of the population are well off the rest are just sustaining a unsustainable lifestyles that will change over time.

Soon everyone will have to "upgrade" to keep up with inflation and suffer if they don't.

That "upgrade" is enrollment into another "school" that teaches you to be employee of another field.......while they get student loans and get in debt again to be employees...(you get the picture)

What do you mean when you said ‘brainwash by the education system’ ?
I know that going to school may not make rich like Bill Gate in the future but sending the children to school is still important.

You had ask a very big question haha I am working right now, maybe when I come back from Gentin next week then I will research for you

Don’t worry about schools here being not up to standard…but worry about the competition here…they are viciously competitive.

Schools now are very modern compare to olden days…no more chalk board and OHP. The students here are very “kiasu” either by nature or because their parents had “enrolled” them into “intensive training”

Many had been brainwashed by the education system that getting a good certification can get a stable job….

I dare to differ…but that’s another theory I will discuss next time

Is good to hear that the teacher was replaced halfway or else there will be a lot of students failing chemistry. Can you tell me roughly what is Singapore education like today compared to your time ? I mean in terms of teaching style, subjects, health and fitness. Are there many international schools in Singapore too ?

The events happened in the past decades ago…haha Last time where got complain to parents one?

Both my parents then are seldom home as they are always working due to the 80′s recession times.

They won’t even have time to go to school to pick me up….when I was in primary school I am proudly the first batch of latch key kid in Jin Tai Primary that got a key hanging on my neck to open the door at home. I had to climb up the door to reach the lock then…and the wooden door need both hand to open…

So, then…anything in school mostly kept to myself. Other kids then might be suffering similar problems but I am not sure.

The chemistry teachers seems to be angry all the time…but if I remembered correctly…he was replaced or resigned half way the semester and the temporary teacher taught us until the exam with me totally lost…

Now, like in army…it’s welfare priority so a gentle complain from the kids will get a barrage of angry parents in the principle office in no time…haha.

Teachers should be encouraging students instead of pulling them down. The world ‘Stupid’ shouldn’t be used at all, not even parents to their own children. We are not born with a clever mind, it takes time to mold a talent.
